Yeah! So fun! Last spring I brought a doll at the American Girl store! She was a just like you doll. She does look a lot like me except she has short curly hair, while I have long *sometimes* wavy hair. Our eye and hair color are the same!! Anyway, we haven't grown up yet, have we? :P
Oh! I am glad I am not the only one who hasn't grown up yet. ;-) How many dolls do you have? I was [pretended to be] afraid that Kirsten would be "jealous" that I was getting another doll, but Amanda said she would be glad to have another playmate... LOL! Sometimes I feel like I must be really weird... I still talk to my dolls! :-P
I just knew you would pick Rebecca! :) Don't know how I knew. So don't ask. Sometimes I just know things without people telling me. :PI don't think one can never be too old to collect (have/play with) dolls. :D Why I was sixteen when I received Jess the girl of the year for my birthday. And before they retired Nellie, I wanted to buy her for Samantha. Plus Nellie looked so darling! :D Sadly, I didn't have the money to buy her at the time.
I have two dolls. Kirsten and Sophia Renee (the "just like you" doll). I pretended that Kirsten would be jealous too! LOL! But then I had her really excited to have a sister. ;) Love you!
Ashley, That's hilarious that you were expecting me to buy Rebecca! LOL! You know, I realized after I bought her that she could pass almost as a "look-alike" for me because we have the same hair and eye color (though not the same hair consistency, as mine is straight as sticks!) Yes, I wish they still had Nellie; she was SO cute!!Gabrielle,Do you know, I was going to call my doll "Sophia" too if I had gotten a look-alike!! (At least, that was one of my ideas!) That's funny about your Kirsten. ;-)
